Maizales S.R.L
Maizales is a society made up of farmers from three generations in this activity and whose ancestors form Piamonte (Italy) and Castilla (Spain) settled in the huge Argentinean Pampa and dedicated their entire lives to agriculture and cattle raising, specially growing wheat and maize, until the abrupt appearance of soybean in the 80s which changed this reality.
Jorge and Juan Jose Baretta -brothers- and Victor Hugo Plaza constitute this society, aimed at production and exporting pop corn maize in the most natural possible way: Applying the no-till system and using seeds without genetic modification.
Producing and selling to the whole world, taking great care of the quality and the fulfillment of all conditions, are constant goals of the group of people working in Maizales, a team in which the fourth generation of producers and professionals are also included now, all of them as enthusiastic in this activity as their parents.
This maize is stored and processed in the same rural area of the farms where it is produced and from that place exported directly, therefore creating a close relationship between place of origin-place of consumption. The extremely careful control of all the stages that the maize goes through gives consumers the greatest security possible, too.
Excellent soils, very favorable climate, suitable rainfall and appropriate agricultural work, plus the latest monitoring technology, give the consumer of Maizales pop corn maize the security of a high level product without genetic modification and harmful pesticides.
